Question about Nintendo 64 Console

1 Answer

My nintendo 64 wont read any games. I checked all of the wires and made sure everything was connected. When i put a game in, the screen goes all black and white, wavy/snowy but i could still see a little bit of the intro in the mess on the screen. It does this with any game I put into it. What can i do to fix my nintendo? Please help.

Check if there is dust in the game itself or the consol.Other than that it could be that you wires(I know you checked)that are hooked up to your tv may somehow be losing a signal.Or the wires in the machine(you werent specific which ones you checked) may have become frayed.Or it could just be over used and could need new prosesing software.

It wont work when I connect it up it only comes up

Check all of your cables, make sure they are clean and free of dust. Then check the game cartridge and clean it by blowing into the connection area on both the game and the system. Be sure all of your cables are plugged into the TV correctly. You HAVE TO HAVE A GAME IN THE SYSTEM IN ORDER FOR IT TO WORK!!!

Hope this helps!!!

My nintendo 64 wont come on, ON the tv.

You need a switch (transformer) to connect it to the incoming signal antenna screws. You will probably need to adapt it to a cable tv plug. The wires you connected are for the sound.

after you load up 007 you must go to key codes to select your game. Then you turn it off and put that game in. It wont start again if you put the wrong game in so dont screw up. Then you can select cheat codes.
