Re: Remotes do not work and front panel will not allow me...

I figured it out. It is, in fact, the front panel board. Disconnecting it sloves all issues. A contact in one of the tact switches must be stuck or giving an abnormal resistance value to the system. Once disconnected, the remote works correctly. I'd rather replace the entire board than try fixing/replacing a tact button only to have another fail in the future. I've heard this has also been an issue with the power button.

Tv volume control

Since it works when close, more likely the battery in the remote is running low, or you have some dust over the remote sensor on the front of the tv panel.

Can't switch devices from front panel. Can't adjust volume from front panel. Cant' see picture or sound from cable input.

Try unplugging the left side of the panel. May work, but you will have no blinking light - but the inputs can be changed (so you can use your DVD etc. extra stuff and the sound will work with the remote. Cheap way
Worth a try - or replace part (Expensive way) Good luck !

Lost remote, blue screen

Sounds like you're stuck on..... Video 1 or Video 2 (whichever). If you can access your TV's menu at the front panel, you should be able to switch over fairly easy. Hit MENU. Using your VOLUME UP & DOWN buttons, Go to CABLE/SATELITE/ANTENNA, hit VOLUME UP or DOWN 'til it switches back to TV picture then hit ENTER. If you do not have an access panel in front but possibly have any other remote (cable or satelite or home theater, etc...) that can be paired with this TV and has an INPUT button, you can change the setting that way.

Hope this info was helpful. Good Luck!

Seems like some type of control board problem. Remote will not work on tv, but works other devices. Manual controls are squirelly. Cannot change inputs. Can move to other inputs on menu but when I hit...

Thats a bad button on the front keypad of the tv . The remote does not work because the tv micro sees a button pressed all the time and never listens to the IR reciever . If you pull the front speaker grill off you will find connector ZF just below the keypad or just inside the access panel. If you do remove that panel don't touch anything else.Just follow the wires down from the keypad to connector ZF. Connector ZF is inline with the wires to the front keypad. Unplug it . Then remote will work like normal. Use it like that or have the front keypad buttons replaced.

Lost remote for sanyo ht30746 tv

You can buy an exact remote from a company called Remote control warehouse for 39.95----Google the model number and you will find them.

It is very common that "universal" remotes will do many functions but not ALL that the original remote did--considering this it may be a good idea to get an original remote---part number on this site is: 6450750977for the remote for this model Sanyo.

I hope this helps you and if you have any questions let me know.

I have Akai LCT2715N.How to go back from smart picture settings to user picture mode? I lost my remote.

You need the remote because the buttons on the bottom only let you bring up the menu and select the function. it wont let you change them. I have one in for repair and have to get the customer to bring me the remote so I can make adjustments.
I have tried a couple of universal remotes and they don't work either.
