Question about Samsung LT-P1745 17 in. EDTV-Ready LCD Television
My son just bought a used Samsung LCD TV at a yardsale. It was working fine at the sale, but when we got it home, it started having problems. It will not stay powered on. When we try to turn it on, the power indicator light comes on amber, as in stand-by mode. Hit the power button again, the light turns green, the display comes on, but then turns off again, and the light changes back to amber. Then the light starts blinking, and finally turns off. The short while the picture is on its great. The same behavior occures when using the remote or the powere button on the monitor. Any suggestions?
Yes my friend check the capacitors in the power supply. some techs call them pregnant capacitors
open the set carefully and check the power supply.always remember to unplug the set before you do anything.
