Question about Computers & Internet
I have no manual, I can't get it to start up, boot up, the screen remains dark, since I don't know this machine, it was givien to me by my daughter who says she hates it(I bought it for her last year) so I don't know where to begin without a Manual.
You have to make sure you have power first.
See if the power supply is working by checking the fan in the back of the machine. If you have power, then when you turn on the power button see if the green indicator is on or the red led light. If you still have no activity then you need to open the case with the power un-plugged please!!! then remove the memory cards, then place them back in. carefully because they are delicate. connect everything then turn the power on. If you still have no power, then start by replacing the (1) power supply, then the (2) video card, then the (3)memory cards. One step at a time until the machine turns on, after each new part turn the machine on, make sure the case is closed please when you turn on the computer.
If these parts you replace still does not work then the computer´s motherboard is burned out, then replace that if possible. Hope this helps.
