Question about Washing Machines
I was washing some sheets when the machine stopped. Water had filled the machine and would not go down. I took the sheets out, tried to continue the cycle and nothing happened. I then tried to reset the machine but the water filled to the top and still hasn't gone down. The washer is about 10 years old.
I would first check your lid switch I can tell you how if need be. Just e-mail me and let me know..

I'm assuming your washer is a Kenmore or Frigidaire front loading washer. E10 error code is an indication of a slow fill, took to long to fill, no fill or the fill water could be siphoning out the drain hose as it's filling with water.
Check to make sure that the drain hose is not stuck too far down the stand pipe and causing the water to siphon out. Check the cold and hot water supply to the washer for any restrictions. If you have a slow fill remove the hoses from the washer and check for restricted filter screens in the water inlet valve. Check for any restricted hose screens too.
