Question about DHD NTX-3105 Car Audio Amplifier

The amp won't come out of Diagnostic mode.

My NTX-3105 Amplifier won't come out of Diagnostic mode.

    Thanks for the advice. I'm open to further suggestions from anyone who knows this model. It's been unplugged for a long time and I just replaced a transistor to get it powered up. Now the diagnostic problem is the issue.

Leave the power unplugged for 4-8 hours. No power what soever. This will let the amp return to regular default mode. If this amp is self fixable, this is the way to do it. The only other way is to take it in and have testing done to find the faulty module.

100 watt dhd amp wont turn on

If it's an aftermarket stereo, there's a small blue wire (accessory/antenna) that goes to the amp. So in essence, you have the large cable going to the battery that powers the amp. However, the small power wire going into the amp tells it when to turn on, by the stereo.

I'd suspect an impedance matching problem, specifically too low of an impedance for the amp to handle.

Amp light flicking off and on

that could be a few things i had that same problem check all ur wires make sure u have a good ground that was my problem

your amp isnt getting enough power to it you may need to install a compacitor unit

Why does my amp stay in protect mode?

The most common reason an amplifier goes into or remains in protect mode is shorted output transistors. To eliminate other possible reasons for it to go into protect, read the following page.
