You may have a faulty temprature sensor, try a hard reset. Just unplug the power cord for 30 minutes or more, then try again.

The thermostat need to be changed along with the entire insulation of the cooled section of the gas tube. First just change the thermostat and see if better cooling is achieved. Then redo the insulation & check the quantity of the coolant gas by any meter. Also ensure that the doors of the freezer & lower section creates an effective contact.,...............sodeep (If nothing works please post your comments so that we can try better)

Hi, your assessment is correct. there has been a part failure and it is the THERMOSTAT assembly. this device regulated the temperature that is set by the user. it commands the compressors actions a s well. if the compressor checked out ok and, you have verified sufficient coolant, this will confirm thermostat assembly failure and replacing this device will fix your temperature control issue. i will post a link to the actual part that you will need to replace below. you can also order on this linked site as well if you choose.

That switch on the compressor is called a Relay and is a common failure problem. Most professional Mechanics will have a universal Standby on his truck until the original part arrives. Doing without the Refrigerator is often needless and very frequently it can be fixed within a day. It is not often best to call a service company the manufacturer recommends but call a Refrigeration Professional that you trust.
The Relay can also be replaced and tried by yourself.
I still think if the doors where left open for any length of time, the 'not cooling' may just be the result of an excessive frost build-up. In such a case the fridge should likely be manually defrosted by turning off or unplugging it for 12-24 hours *while leaving the doors open* (very important during a defrosting).
This means please have the fridge completely defrosted and then plug it in.
