Question about Mitsubishi WD-65833 65" HDTV
This weekend I went to turn on my WD65833 and all I got was sound and no picture. When I look in the back of it I see a light flashing and a noise coming from it like it it's trying to do something. On the front of the TV a red light is lit where it says lamp. I just bought it 1 1/2 years ago, can the bulb be going up already. Is this something I can replace without a repairman?
I'm having the same issue but we replaced the lamp and still no picture.... anyone can help?

Yes the Lamp can fail within that time frame. Much of it depends on how many hours the set is running. Most Lamps have a 3000 to 5000 hrs of life. But with any Halogen style Lamp, this is not written in stone.
Hope this helps,
