Assuming you are talking about the electric pto clutch , with the pto switch in the on position you should have on the two wires going to the clutch battery voltage between the two wires. With the machine in the run position, engine off and you probably will need someone sitting in the seat so the seat safety switch will allow voltage to be supplied to the pto clutch.

I have a husqvarna logth 2448t that was working and now when I try to engage the blade nothing happens. Any ideas?

This machine has an electro magnetic clutch, pull the switch up and a 12v supply is sent to the clutch, the plate is drawn in magnetically and the drive turns the belt, so you need to check with a multi meter that there is 12v supply at the connector at the clutch ( there will be a small block connector joining the clutch wires ) when the switch is pulled up, if there is no supply the problem is either with the switch or possibly the seat micro switch, if there is a 12v supply then the cluch needs replacing.

The 20 amp fuse blows when i engage the pto. cub cadet 1045 20 hp

Pto cluch is shorted to ground
unplug the pto to isolate the pto from the circut,
Does the fuse still blow ?
use a ohm meter to test the plug at the pto
Test each side of plug to pto body or ground if meter goes to zero the cluch is shorted , and is not fixable (sealed unit)
you will have to by a new one I'll say around 50 to 75 dollars

Trouble shoot magnetic cluch

Unplug it and put 12v into it with a couple jumper wires. Just touch and remove power quickly. Clutch you engage if not. It will need to be replaced. Those things aren't usually repairable. Sealed units.

Air condition system, compressor will not stay on turnes on then quick off.

is there signal to the magnetic cluch? if so its the magnetic clutch not angaging it is cotroled by the switch the relay and the modual but if you have the signal and ground and the clutch isnt activating then the clutch is bad it also has sensors that will deactivate it if there is a problem

3. check wire going to clutch
4. with volt meter or test light check clutch wires / bypass clutch turn A/C on; turn ignition on; does the light - light?
5. with ohm meter check cluch wiring - cluch may have burned out

Starter Cluch problem / Starter

starter needs to be rebuilt, most parts are available from your local dealer, would also be a good idea to take your starter armature to an automotive electronics repair facility so they can check your armature on a tool called a growler for winding integrety....also check the magnets in your armature housing to ensure they havent cracked or been damaged in any way.
