Manual for a singer treadle machine #69635264

Is there any other number on the machine? Or does that number begin with letters? I'm not seeing that number in the Singer Serial number database. Sorry.

You might want to try the information at the link below to see if you can identify you exact model.

Need Model # AJ 7102236

There is no such thing as "Model" with that number. I do however recognize that as a Singer SERIAL NUMBER.

Singers of this vintage were not marked with model numbers. You have to identify them by their features. Luckily a kind Singer-lover... put up a nice visual guide.

Once you determine your model.... you can go to and click on "customer support" then "manuals" and enter the Model number minus any trailing letters. For instance if your machine is a 128k just enter 128.

Once you have downloaded your manual... you might look for an adjuster's manual at If needed.

Good luck and have fun bringing your old girl back to life!

Approximate value

Elaine. AH882832 is NOT a model number... that is the serial number. First you need to identify the the model of the machine. You do that visually. Go here and follow the instructions.

Then you have to determine condition. Clearly a machine that has been well used is rusty and the decals all worn off is not going to be worth much. More elaborate decals tend to be more desirable. But basically most people want it to run and sew perfectly. Of course the more accessories/attachments and manuals you have the better.

This Machine was a gift,

Hi Ellen: The AK861598 number you gave IS NOT your model number but instead it is your serial number.

You will need to determine the model of your machine visually. Here is a good guide to do that.

Then when identified... go here and get a manual.

Most of those older manuals have adjustment instructions.
If you need a parts list you can try this link.

Have fun and good luck getting your old girl going.

Singer manual model AF

Good grief... that is NOT a model number. That is your serial number. Old machines didn't have model numbers on the machines.... you just have to identify them from their appearance and features.

Now can you please take a picture and upload it or link from your blog or something. I'm happy to help you but I need to see your machine.

Looking for singer sewing machine manual g2048733 I believe it is 1911

The g2048733 is the serial number and was built in 1912, actually. (1911 is not the model number.) To get the manual, you need the model number. This should be on a plaque on the front of the machine; it may be just above the base on the belt side. (Singer made 40 models as of 1900.) If the plaque is missing, contact 1-800-4-SINGER (1-800-474-6437) to translate the serial number into a model number.

With the model number, you can get a manual here: . Here you can download or purchase manuals depending on the machine.

If you add a comment with the model number, I will be glad to provide the direct link to the manual. I hope this helps.

I have a very old wihite sewing machine. I have no manual and there is no model number on it. It does say 75 cycles on the back plate. I have no belt for the machine and need a size?

you could try searching for a manual on the singer website,, in the search field type "W1" and click search and see what comes up. You may need to look at a few of the manuals, to find something that looks like yours.

The other option to identify yours is to go to google images and search on "white sewing machine" and see if you see an image similar to yours that has a code number on it.

To locate spare parts you could try again you may need to search through a few. But you could try taking a photo of your machine and emailing it to that website and see if they can help to identify the belt you need. wrapping a tape measure around the path to get a general idea of length may also assist with this.
