Hey, this is for 60gb win7, 60gb osx and the rest fat32 for data.

once you have your drives partitioned to your preffered choice format the partition you are installing osx to to fat32 from vista (this enables the mac osx installer to see it and format it to mac osx journaled later).

install easybcd 2.0 beta and add an osx boot entry making sure you choose the mbr option not efi.

now follow this guide for installing ahci drivers for win7/vista

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/922976

Once done reboot your machine and enter the bios (mine is 2801 which isthe newest) and change you settings to the following:-

These bios photos are taken from lifehacker here:-

http://lifehacker.com/photogallery/BIOS/

Now reboot win7/vista and allow it to install the drivers for ahci

Now that all of the preparation is out of the way it's time to chuck in the ipc osx dvd and install:-

Once the dvd has booted choose disk utilities from one of the drop down menus and format your fat 32 partition from earlier to mac osx journaled then exit disk utilities.

now click continue and choose your destination partition and choose customize

do not choose any kernels as it will install vanilla by default

for video drivers choose whichever best fits your card (highlighting each one should tell you what they are for. if this doesn't work it is possible to reinstall and choose no card and install after

For my card i settled for a post install of the nvidia version 2 drivers and nvdarwin.kext and it is running at 512mb instead of 1024mb. This is ample for now and as Apple are now using these cards it won't be long before the one click 1gb driver will be available (i hope).

the chipset drivers you need are ichx sata drivers and the jmicron driver (there are two, it's the top one you want)

for sound select alc882 and under legacy drivers also choose alc882 address 0 (the sound might not work on first boot but if you reboot and go into system preferences/sound/output and change to internal speakers it will be fine)

ethernet drivers needed are the marvell yukon ones and the wifi is realtek rtl8187/l

choose the patched usb drivers (top of the 2 options)

choose ps2 keyboard fix

choose apple smbios patch and select whichever one fits your ram

Double check everything and then install and find something to do for half an hour.

Digital home psw DH deluxe motherboard problem

- Unplug the power.
- Clear CMOS
- Change chassis intrusion position jumper
(to Default)
- Change Battery.

If that does not help, the component for chassis intrusion is likely to be faulty read more info here:

Probem with Asus P5W DH waking back up

Do you have a modem plugged into phone line - is a signal on phone line causing it (unplug phone line cable to try that).
Could be faulty power switch on front of computer where the contacts are only a hairs breadth apart and the slightest movement/vibration causes it to contact (try this by disconnecting those two wires from the motherboard

I'd try disconnectng any communication cables from the computer first. That would be LAN and Modem cables. If it still restarts, disconnect the keyboard and power down the PC. If it still restarts, then power down again before it is fully off, remove the mouse. If it still does it get a priest to do an exorcism
