Question about Hoover F7222-900 SteamVac Upright Vacuum
What I have done is to forget about the detergent container which doesn't standup to ordinary use and go and buy a small tank sprayer and fill it with the detergent solution
-----------and then spray the area you want to cover. Be sure to adjust the spray so you don't wind up wetting the furniture. I got tired of playing games with the machine and realized that this was the best solution to solve an ongoing problem with the machine.
The container for the detergent continues to leak causing a mess, just when you are struggling to do a nice job. Good luck and let me know how you made out.

Is the detergent tank cracked at the bottom, under the black seal? If so the whole tank asm. needs to be replaced. But if this is new, then it has a one years warranty on it and you can take in for warranty repair.
