Question about Gateway 6510GZ Notebook
MY Gateway notebook 6510gz is always dying on me and I've rebuilt it before but now I nolonger have the recovery CD I need to getinto my computer to access everything I want to take off my comp. and now gateway is telling me ther is nothing I can do because the recovery Cd's are obsolete. where can I find an older recovery CD from before 2006?
You don't need a recovery cd. You just need to remove the hard drive and insert it into an external drive caddy. Then it will become just like an external hard drive. You can browse the drive to copy over your new files and then use the drive for backing up your new files in the future.
