Question about Toshiba Satellite M35X-S163 Notebook
I press the start button and it barely shows the Toshiba logo before shutting off. I try to press the f2 or f12 to get to the setup screen but I haven't been able to get there before it shuts down again.
Try tapping F8 steadily while it boots up, and see if you can enter Last know good configuration or safe mode with networking and get it to start windows that way.
Here's a general startup diagnosis article.
If you're using vista, see this article as well.
If not, write back with your OS and any error messages that flash by on the screen before shut down...and mention any software or hardware changes you recently made to your system...
I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

If you wait too long and the operating system logo appears, continue to wait until you see the Microsoft Windows desktop. Then shut down your computer and try again.
