I ve connect the speaker after programming my com with new windows XP config. now i m not hearing sound on my com,please tell me what should i do?

You may not have installed the drivers for your sound card. Please use this link to help troubleshoot this xp sound problem. Then, please follow the instructions in this tutorial to update drivers. Most likely that will take care of this problem...

Hp mini 110 will not wireless connect


Did you put the password in correctly? If not it will just continously keep polling trying to connect.

There are two ways to connect. One way is to use Windows (called Zero Config) to connect and the other way is to let the software that came with the wireless adapter control the connection. Switch them out and see if you can connect. Look on your desktop or in your program list for the program that came with the wireless adapter. Click Start/Programs and look for it. When you find it, open it. Look for settings that say: Let This Tool Manage the Wireless Connection or Let Windows (Zero Config) Manage the Wireless Connection.

Try both ways, I've seen times where one will work, but the other one will not.

I recently purchased bose multimedia speakers. I can plug the iPhone into the control and the sound is phenomenal. When I plug the USB into my laptop (HP6535b) the speakers install, but the sound is...


xp was never designed to do that ever. my guess... and is true in vast cases with XP , XP is DEAD, as will be getting new drivers for new devices, see?
When I plug the USB what does that mean.

all i can tell as would HP, take that USB thing above
go the the makers web site, see that software, there,
do they have XP software, NO.
i bet they do not support XP

not only that all said was,.
bose multimedia speakers.

what does that mean>/ its non specific so is useless. input
the only word there good id BOSE(tm)
they make lots of things, most things do not run on any XP
unless real lucky,

my guesss is the BOSE(tm) has its own sound chip
and needs its own SOUND chip driver to work
and if even you had that chip driver,
XP would get real confused having 2 sound chips in one PC
try this , go to DM , device manager,
and turn off the normal sound chip from HP.
on windows 10 we click the task bar speaker and kill the onboard sound chip that way, letting head phones USB work.
or USB external devices that have, 2nd chip.
see? running 2 chips at same time (sound) is never going to work
like having 2 TV's playing same time, chaos.

I have a sony vgc-rb50 model desktop that had xp i put windows 7 on it and cant here any music or sounds ..


You would need to re-install the audio driver for your sound card but I've check the Sony Website (link below) and their doesn't appear to be any drivers for Windows 7 for your model.

You could try using the Windows XP or Vista Drivers but I expect they won't work.

You only option would be to purchase and Install another Sound Card that. Probably best looking on eBay, but make sure it's Windows 7 compatible.

Try the above link for Vista or XP drivers which may be used with Windows 7 in some cases.

The va1912wb came up when I searched under 1912.

This driver is available directly from the viewsonic.com site.

Uninstall the other driver if possible.

No sound on dell dimension 4700c


There can be more than one reason, why the computer can't play any sounds. These are discussed below:

If you have a desktop computer, it may or may not have a separate sound card. But in case of laptops, the sound card is integrated into the motherboard and cannot be removed, so some of the solutions may not apply to laptops. Also, new laptops come with built-in speakers, so the external speakers and cabling problems may not apply here, unless you use external speakers or headphones.

So, where do you start, when you can’t hear any sounds from your computer?

Before we start with the solutions, did you try the simplest solution first? Rebooting or restarting the computer is the simplest solution and should be tried first. If you didn’t already reboot, try it now. The sounds may just work after a reboot.

Can you hear the Windows startup sounds from the computer? If you can hear the Windows startup sounds, the sound card is working fine. If you can’t hear any startup sounds, enable the System Sounds in the Control Panel, if they are disabled. If you aren’t able to enable the system sounds and they are grayed out, you may need to install the sound driver.

Are you trying to play an audio CD, and not getting any sound? If you can hear the System Sounds, but can’t hear anything from the audio CD, even though your audio player software tells that it’s playing the disc, the problem is most likely with the digital cable that goes from the CD/DVD driver to the sound card (or to the motherboard).


One side of this cable goes into the back of the CD/DVD drive and the other goes into the sound card or on to the motherboard (in case of motherboards with built-in sound).

Are the speakers connected to the proper sound port / jack, at the back of the computer? Are they powered ON? External speakers generally have a separate power adapter, which plugs into the wall socket or any other power source. Is the speaker volume control, set to a comfortable level? If not, turn it to the middle position.

If in doubt, test your speakers by connecting them to another sound device like CD/DVD player or a radio/tape player, or any sound source. If you can hear sounds from the speakers, they are fine.

Check that the speaker pin is connected to the green jack on the back of the computer. Also, check that the sound (check speaker icon in the system tray) isn’t muted. Such a simple thing, which can happen accidentally, can confuse some people when they can’t hear sounds from their computers. This can get overlooked because the speaker icon may be lost between many other icons. Click it and un-mute the sound, if it’s muted.

Note: If you can’t see the speaker icon in the system tray, you may need to enable it from the Control Panel. From the Control Panel, double-click “Sound and Audio Devices” and check the box that says “Place volume icon in the taskbar” and click OK.

Try plugging in a pair of headphones in place of the speakers, to check whether you can hear anything. Play a song or music CD or any sound file, which you may have on the computer. If you don’t have one handy, you can run a command to test your sound:

I didn't able to hear sound in my computer from speakers and headphones.

My sound hardware work but i dnt hear nothink in my output speack


Question: Are your speakers plugged in and turned on?
First check the hardware of your speakers, that they are plugged in, to the proper speaker port. then check the device manager to see if it recognizes the sound card /speakers, it not then go to add hardware app and run it , remove sound card and replace it with windows Plug and Play running. if it recognizes it then run your program to see if the sound is playing. Good luck hope this solves your problem.

My speakers don't work

Good day!
I figure is a 5.1 speakers? if so, tell me if your sound card model is one for 5.1 speakers. then according to manual for set speakers on the Logitech, you put the cables, usually
Green, Black, Orange and Blue. for Mic.
then test on the sound card program for sound test.
