Question about Dometic RM2652 Refrigerator

Dometic fridge 'check' light keeps coming on...won't cool

We were preparing for camping and had the unit plugged into A/C and was cooling fine. The day we left, the 'check' light was on there was no cooling and it was in 'Auto' mode. I turned the power on/off several times over the next 2 days, but never cooled and check light kept coming on.
Now, it does look like the propane tanks went empty, but I was plugged into A/C power and the book indicates that this light should only be on if we are running on gas and having a problem. Is there some reason that the propane tanks being empty would cause this problem?
Thanks...

Yes , the check light is there to tell you that your out of gas yes this is true but the device which switches to power is not changing over which will not let the heaters work and will not start the process of cooling, I suggest to inspect the switch and ensure that this is the case first before consulting a mechanic.

Usually there is a short in the system when fuse is blown. Check the cord as sometimes mouse can damage the cord. It is a posibility.
Check power to the electronic board.

Refer will not cool

The blue wire you are referring to, does not plug into anything. It should have a shrink wrapped rubber on the end of it. As for your fridge not cooling I will need for info.
If your fridge is level and on electric the rear coils of the cooling should be warm. If they are warm and the fridge is still not cooling then you will more then likely need a new cooling unit. Also keep in mind that these units are very sensitive to being leveled; even a minor tilt will cause them to quit cooling. These units are not equipped with compressors as are home refrigerators which are not quite as fussy as the evaporative type.

Hi...recently purchased a 2005 Roadtrek RV with a Dometic RM 2354 fridge in it...was getting things ready for camping and had the RV hooked up to 110 power...pushed on button for fridge and went through...

You said there was NO lights on the unit. The Dometic service manual says:

1. No operation - no panel lights: DC Volts

Fuse

Wiring

Upper Circuit Board

Lower Circuit Board

I would start with the DC volatage and track it back until you lose it. Most of the time it does end up being the lower circuit board though.
