Question about Dometic RM2652 Refrigerator
We were preparing for camping and had the
unit plugged into A/C and was cooling fine. The day we left, the
'check' light was on there was no cooling and it was in 'Auto' mode. I
turned the power on/off several times over the next 2 days, but never
cooled and check light kept coming on.
Now, it does look like the propane tanks went empty, but I was plugged into A/C power and the book indicates that this light should only be on if we are running on gas and having a problem. Is there some reason that the propane tanks being empty would cause this problem?
Yes , the check light is there to tell you that your out of gas yes this is true but the device which switches to power is not changing over which will not let the heaters work and will not start the process of cooling, I suggest to inspect the switch and ensure that this is the case first before consulting a mechanic.

1. No operation - no panel lights: DC Volts
Upper Circuit Board
Lower Circuit Board
I would start with the DC volatage and track it back until you lose it. Most of the time it does end up being the lower circuit board though.
