Crackle, off, on, now won't come on.

This sounds strange. first my tv started to crackle through the speakers and the picture would get some static for about 1 second, then the tv would turn off and right back on. it did this for about a month and now won't turn on. is it trash?

TV made a big popping sound, and then a crackling

Hi,do you hear any strange noises? If you hear clicking or like wanting to turn on it could be the board that powers the lamp it's called the ballast. Here's the instructions to replace it : That crackling sound could be of the color wheel:The color wheel is a rotating disc that has a gamma of colors it spins at high rpms. The light of the lamp goes through it to create the colors on your tv.When it starts to go bad you will get color distortion ,black and white picture and sometimes you will hear humming noises. But if you don't hear any strange noises,tv is around 6000 hrs,2-4 yrs it could be time to replace the lamp. The lamp you need is BP9601073A you can find original here: .Have a blessed one!

Continuous crackling from TV speakers

I'm sure you have figured this one out. TV itself is causing the problems.
The circuit board that produces the audio signal seems to be the problem.
Before you call the repairman, go to the web site just to get an idea of what the parts will cost. That way he doesn't rip you off.

I hope I answered your question correctly. Please rate me. :)

Snap, crackle sound from Sanyo TV

It sounds to me as if possibly ya Main IC Amp Chip & OR the Output Capacitors are failing... Sometimes it is a sign of a power supply on it's way out... Either way it's time for a repair shop quote. Either that or it may be the speakers crossovers... to check this, if you can, try another set of speaker... see if problem is still there. If it IS, then it IS most probably as I said above.. If NOT then it may be one or both of the "Crossover Network" in each speaker...
