Ive recently had to replace num1 injector on my 93 altima 2 weeks go by i was driving it and it started acting up again then 5 mins later it's fine.... bout 2 more weeks go by and acting up again but doesnt strightin up. its the num 1 injector again. anyone know y the same injector goes bad twice in a month i replaced the fuel filter and i ran fuel injector cleaner through it and i only use 100% gas
How did you find out it is the injector causing the problem? the injectors are wired in series on these vehicles, it is possible that another faulty injector may be causing the problem. although it may be difficult to find if this happens intermittently. A scope test may be the only way to find the problem. Does the engine light come on with a misfire code on Cylinder #1? P0301 or r u just getting a random misfire code P0300 ? a bit more info on the vehicle may also be helpful........ engine size? # of cylinders 4 or 6 ?
Testimonial: "no i took the fuel rail off with injectors still in tacked and wires still pluged in and cranked the motor over num1 injector was the only 1 not pulsing fuel. that was the first time and same thing this time. its a 4cylinder by the way. thanks"
no i took the fuel rail off with the injectors still in tacked and wires still plugged in.and cranked the motor over and num 1 injector was the only 1 not pulsing fuel. that was the first time.. second time repeated and same results. its a 4cylinder thanks.
then it is more probable that you do indeed have a faulty part, have u tried removing the injector from the rail and swaping it with one of the others to see if it operates? if u put the suspected injector in a different position and it still does not work, take part back and get another.

it is likely the EGR Valve. If you are going to replace it, make sure that it is the exact valve for your car. Take the Vehicile ID number with you to get the exact Valve.Although they may look exactly the same, your car might not run with another EGR. they are caliberated to the engine and it has to be exact.

I would check your intake gasket. Get your self ome carb cleaner in a spray form/can and perfrom this test. Run the car and spray the carb cleaner on your intake gasket which is right by your injectors. So pretty nuch spray it at the injector rail and listen fot change in idle, If the idle changes, the intake gasket is torn and you are running lean, because of a vaccum leak. Common problem on your model car. Perform test and let me know what you find.

replace the distributor oil is leaking into the electronics of the distributor and shorting out pull cap back off and look and see if oil is leaking out

Get some new O-rings, and this time put oil on them before you insert them into the fuel rail. The regulator is alright. The problem is that the o-rings can roll up, or twist when push em in dry. Had this problem once, easy fix, but was frustrating.
SOURCE: I recently replace the crank shift sensor, but
switch on your car but don't start it, let it stay in that position for a few minutes. after start your car, if starts without problems then your problem is your fuel pump. but if problem is still there then it could be your fuel filter or timing of your car.
