I have 600 songs in memory and when I try to add more other songs start to be erased

probably even if its 16GB sometime files goes error. check if it has enough space left to store songs... or try to save all your songs first then format it and the save your songs again try if all the songs will be stored after you format.

Memory on my mp3 is almost full without any songs on it.

Try this: Connect your MP3 player to your computer. Open "My Computer". You should see your MP3 player connected. Right click on it. Click on FORMAT. This should completely wipe everything on your MP3 player (except for the original necessary files that came on it origianlly). You should then be able to get all of your space back.

Space on the mp3 player

You need to make sure the songs you are saving to it are in the .mp3 format and not .wma
.mp3 format compresses the song file smaller than .wma
Also make sure the mp3 player doesn't already have other audio or video files stored on it (if it is used).

Will not accept more songs or convert from wma to mp3

Have you tried backing up all the songs and re-formatting the player? This sounds like it could be a filesystem problem...

Or you could check for a firmware upgrade. That's what fixed mine when it wouldn't play mp3s; a new firmware might have a bugfix for your problem. Firmware is available at:

This player will not store much more. Even if you change the song properties, you will not squeeze much more out of this one.

1 gb mp3 player not working

Same thing happened to me. I was using windows media player to sync my song and it says my player was using 260 mb of space even though it was formatted time after time. I simply loaded as many song as I could fit on the player. When I unplugged it and plugged it back in, windows media now showed that missing 260 mb of space as available. The only catch is that the song I had already uploaded on to the player were not shown on the sync list.
