MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet toyour computer and then copy them to your MP3 player or delete the existing files using the USB cable connected to the computer. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs tomp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and thencopy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable tothe MP3 player and the computer.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.Click on this link for instruction on converting musicfiles to mp3 file format :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r5798418-creating_transferring_mp3_music_files

I have a 4gb player and only uploaded 1.25gb of music and its showing that memory is full please help.

- Connect your MP3 player to your PC/Laptop and use 'Windows Explorer' to locate the drive for your MP3 player. - Right click on the mouse while pointer is on your seleted MP3 drive and select 'properties' - This will show your actual 'Used space' and 'Free space' for your MP3 player. - If you are using more space than you thought, double click on your MP3 drive to display your files in 'details' mode which will show the 'missing' individual file size details that were previously loaded. . Hope it helps!

Erasing files

connect it to the computer
go to windows media player
go to sync
make sure that the mp4 player is connected (by looking to the side and it says coby mp705 and it shows how much space is left)
look to the left side of the media player...(where it says artists, playlists, songs, albums)
there should be a coby 705 section
if its closed open it
go to artists or songs and right click on the song or artist you want to take out...and press delete

Alright, plug the player in with your USB cable.

Open "My Computer" and find in on the list of drives and CD-Roms. It will be called something like "Audio Device" or "Removable Storage Device". Make sure you find the correctly icon for the player.

Right click the player then select the format option. You'll probably want to use a FAT32 format as it is the usual format for MP3 players and flash drives of the like. This will totally erase any files on the player, so be forewarned before you complete this.

Raw file system is basically the media in it's standard state. All the information is recorded as zero's and this is how your computer is seeing it. It is either reporting incorrectly due to bad file system error, or simple was formatted incorrectly.

Give that a try, let me know what happens. :) Hope it helps.
