If the inkjet printer has not been used for some time, and the ink cartridges are full then the print head nozzles may be blocked. If running the maintenance nozzle cleaning does not clear the print head nozzles then the print head will need to be replaces. NOTE - inkjet print heads are not cheap, it may be better to purchase a new injet printer.
Orange light flashes if there is any issue with the printer. Please check all the hardware is functioning properly. Check if there is any paper jam. If printer cartridge is installed properly. Printing head is ok.
The 6A00 is a Canon generic code for paper path jam.
Solution 1: Move the printhead carriage back and forth a few times.
Solution 2: Check the purge unit: Moving the print head assembly will not clear a purge unit if its jammed with paper, paper clips, push pins, screws, cookie crisp, flower bud pods or the like.
