the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

2002 r1 code 11 fix? Bypass?

No normal signals are received from the cylinder identification sensor.
Probable causes:
Open/short circuit in wiring subharness
Open/short circuit in wiring harness
Defective cylinder identification sensor
Malfunction in ECU
Improperly installed sensor

A variety of issues seem to affect this code. I would start off with the simple and check your fuses. After, if you have a multimeter, it's time to start checking wires. You can save yourself some time and visually check for any signs of a wire that was pinched or broken/chipped wire sheathing/shielding. If you have the service manual, I would start backward from the cylinder identification sensor. The sensor sits on top of your valve cover.

I hope this helps.

Installing heating element on whirlpool dryer

The easiest way to get to the heating element would probably be to take off the front panel. Be sure to disconnect the power first as you may have to disconnect the door switch to give yourself more room. Even by doing that you don't have a full view of the element but taking out and putting in the barrel/barrel belt is a much bigger pain so you may want to try installing the heating element without pulling the entire thing apart.
As far as the wiring goes There should be two wires, one light coloured, and one dark coloured(probably white and black). The dark one usually goes to a small disk-like switch(called the 'limit switch) near the element before connecting to the actual element. The light coloured wire should go to the connector opposite the dark coloured wire.
It really doesn't matter which side of the element you connect it to as long as you don't connect them together.

Hi. trying to re-install a pioneer deck where an alpine used to be. can't read the japanese on the alpine wiring to know which wire is for what. What coulour goes to the ignition, what colour is for the...

dnt get confused, follow these simple wiring .......
firstly cut off the old lug from the connected place, make sure you cut each wire seperatly....and you are going ti use the wiring agin, avoid making the wires shorter...
YELLOW..12V+ DIRECT FROM BATTERY...can be joined where alpine yellow was conected.
RED...12V+ IGNITION WIRE..can be joined where alpine red was connected
BLACK 12-, NEGATIVE....BODY GROUNDING
ALL SPEAKER WIRES HAVE +AND-, PURPLE/PURPLE----------WHITE /WHITE-------GREEN/GREEN.......GRAY/GRAY..ALL THESE ARE SPEAKER WIRES, COMPARE THE CONNECTION OF ALPINE AND FOLLOW THE COLOUR FROM APLINE LUG AND JOIN THE PIONEER LUG ....THEY HAVE BAISC COLOUR WIRE AND AHVE SAME TYPE CONNECTION..DO IT

Re wiring

Thanks for your concern guy's. We did manage to fix the problem....It took us about four days of laborious work....We had to remove the harness covers and work our way backwards and forward, from the management computer, to and from the relevant 'sender unit' coolant temp, air temp, manifold pressure, lumda and oxogen sensor and from the controlled units, ie, ignition system, injection system, cooling fan set up and so on. We managed to identify the connections by following the identification labels printed onto the circuit boards.

We think that Toyota could make life a lot easier, if they used a standard wire colour coding and did not change that colour inside the loom....It is not un-common to see, as an example, a red with white tracer at one end and that may be joined to a blue with red tracer at the other end....If the loom cover is not removed and the cable inspected, you could not guess from what goes in, what will be coming out.

Hope this will be of help to someone somewhere.

Best regards

Problem installing car stereo

THE FIAT BRAVO HAS A STANDARD ISO CONNECTION WHICH SHOULD PLUG INTO MOST AFTERMARKET STEREOS AND THEREFORE YOU WON'T NEED TO KNOW THE COLOUR CODE, IF THERE ISN'T ANY PLUG ON THE STEREO BUY AN ISO PLUG THEY'RE NOT EXPENSIVE AND CONNECT IT TO THE RADIO AND JUST PLUG IT INTO THE CAR HARNESS, YOU DON'T REALLY WANT TO CUT THE CAR'S WIRING
