Question about Toshiba Satellite A215-S5822 Laptop
First try to check that the keyboard connection to the motherboard is still solid & that the key is depressing as it should. If all is connected there may be a hardware fault on the keyboard - if so I can get you a price on a replacement.

I have the same problem on my Dell Latitude CPx as what hebert9588 describes. I've been ignoring it for years using an external keyboard but finally tried different things (changing BIOS settings as well as this Fn+F12+NumLk that jackie1969uk describes in http://www.fixya.com/support/t1629106-fuction_botton_stuck_press_fn_button and it's healed! Thank you!
