Help with scanning on mour Ricoh Aficia 203...

There is 2 types of scanning 1.twain scanning 2.scan to folder. Twain Scanning- install trhe twain driver  and desk top binder from the CD.Set easy scanning in the desk top binder set up and  start scanning directly.Image formatt will be tiff. Scan to folder- Share the desired folder in PC .Select scanner display in the machine.Select scan to folder.select SMB protocol.brouse the network and select the folder and scan to that folder.

Since this is a  network printer, you can scan to folder,FTP site or email. alot will depend on your network enviroment. SMB is the simplest. The folder you are scanning to need permission to write to the folder. If you have email you need to enter your smtp server IP address in the user tools and an senders email address. the manuals with the copier will help or download them.
