Question about Canon DR-9080C Path-Through Scanner
I have a customer who is getting e15 error codes on their 7580. The manual says it is an abnormality in the imprinter voltage. What are the most likely down to the least likely problems? I took the imprinter cartridge and PU board 80 from a known good scanner and swapped. I then ran over 1,000 scans on each scanner (I put the suspect machines parts in the known good machine) and had no problems. The very next morning I get a call for the same problem on the original machine.
I have the same model Canon DR-9080C scanner which I recently acquired and I'm trying to figure out how used it is. I see many referrign to a counter. I see the big LCD on top front, but how do you know how many total pages have been scanned through it? I read somewhere there is a mechanical scanner. Is this true?
