I have a Panasonic S-VHS-C Video Camera and when I turn it on it will come up then say "In safemode please remove and reattach battery." I do that then it comes right back up! What do I do?

clean terminal of battery not working ,? replace w/new batt. or try the buck up power of the camera plug to the wall and attached .
