Piece of lid broke off

Sand the area on bottom of piece along with areas surrounding the broken piece. Get another small piece of plastic that is large enough to cover the broken piece and adjacent areas and apply the glue to that using a good epoxy for adhesion. Let it set up and it will hold - trust me.

I recently found my wireless keyboard but I the piece you plug into the laptop broke. Can this keyboard still work without that piece? Is their a software I can download available?

a wireless keyboard needs a receiver plugged into the computer to receive the signals from the keyboard
It is like a small usb connection
talk with an IT geek and you may be able to get a driver and a usb receiver to connect to the keyboard.
generally with the price of wireless keyboards it may be simpler to buy another on that will have the usb receiver and driver

The accessory box no longer remains closed because a small piece of plastic broke off. There is a 5 yr. repair agreement on this. Will you please replace this piece?

Return to manufacturer or shop where purchased if it has a guarantee. Or simply put an elastic band around the box.

I removed my run capacitor from my Jenn Air Refrigerator Side by Side Model Number JCD2295KEP and when it was reinstalled a small piece of plastic broke off the Capacitor when I clipped it back to place. ...

If the case is not cracked it should be fine. There is a chemical in the capacitor that could leak out if the case and cause it not to work correctly.

The piece that allows a usb cord to connect to the actual external hard drive broke off and i no longer can plug it into my computer. how do i get the piece out or fix it?

An external storage-device has four major components:

* the USB cable

* the power-adapter

* the disk-drive inside the enclosure

* the USB-to-disk-drive adapter inside the enclosure.

One of these components has failed.

Try a different USB cable.

Try connecting to a different USB port on your computer.

Try connecting to a USB port on a different computer.

Take a "multi-meter" and measure both the voltage and amperage output from the AC adapter, and compare with the specifications on the label on the adapter.

Open the enclosure, and remove the disk-drive, and then connect it as a "slave" disk-drive in a desktop computer, to see if it works at all.

Purchase a new, compatible, disk-drive, and install it in the enclosure, to "revive" your external storage device.

Get the part-number and serial-number from the label on your disk-drive, and access the manufacturer's web-site, and use "check warranty status", to see if they will replace the device, at minimal cost to you.

Or, buy an "empty" external disk-drive enclosure, for about $30, and "transplant" your disk-drive into this enclosure.

Usb input from hard drive to computer is broken

Will replacing the data-cable replace the broken-off piece?

If not, then for about $30, you can buy a new "empty" external case, and then "transplant" your current disk-space into the new case.
Take your current external drive to the computer-store, so that the new case that you buy will be the correct case for your existing disk-drive.

Of course, because you have a "small" (100GB) disk-drive, any warranty for the disk-drive probably has expired, and it would be good "preventative-maintenance" to buy a new external disk-drive, before your current disk-drive unexpectedly "quits" on you.

My verbatim 4GB flash drive broke. The metal

If the metal piece just came out of the plastic casing, you may try reconnecting it to the computer and see if it would be detected by the computer. If it's detected, back up all the files.

But if the metal piece broke off, sorry but there's no way to fix it.

Now, you may look for a Data Recovery Center near you. The Data Recovery Centers are computer shops or stores that offers data restoration, back up or retrieval.

Hope these helps and have a great day!

The part of my pen drive that goes in the computers usb port has just broke off and was still in the computer? can i retreive my data or can it be fixed?

The possibility of fixing a USB drive isn't good. The contacts that connect the USB connectors to the drive itself are very small and very hard to solder. (they are soldered by computer from the factory). I would by more worried about the USB port on the computer that it would still work after you pull the pieces of the connector out of that port.

Good luck.
