My son cell broke and he needs another phone, so I found an old Nokia and I lost security code needed to unlock the Nokia 6555b, please help me, thanks.

If it is lost nothing can be done. You need to flash your mobile at an authorized service center which will reset the mobile memory and also all the data inside the mobile will be lost.

Phone broken

manufacturers defect, take it in and get it replaced if its less than one year old. Just say that you unplugged it and now it broke. If they still say no, go to another store and get the tech insurance and then take it in, pay $50 deductable and get a new one.

Replacing the front casing on a Nokia 7370

LCD Screen

Thats actually a tougher repair - you need to open the phone near the swivel and MAKE SURE YOU DON'T TEAR THE FLEX CABLE!
Once that's removed, unclip the flex, dismantel the brace, then replace old lcd with new one, reconnect flex, and when closing the phone BE CAREFUL of the flex near the swivel.

If you have the parts - we at can do it for you for $15 + shipping

My lcd is broken on my sidekick !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Either buy the entire screen portion off Ebay which would only require you to remove the swivel portion and screen or just the LCD (which would be cheaper but a bit more work to replace, albeit simple). With a small screwdriver, remove the LCD from the phone by unscrewing the back of the screen and replacing LCD. You may still need to remove the entire screen from the base and as the swivel portion is on a coil, be mindful that it doesn't swivel after removal. I usually leave one of the screws in place to keep the screen from swiveling, otherwise, if it uncoils just wind the swivel portion to a moderate tightness and then reattach it to the unit after replacing the LCD.

The phone uses two magnets which are located behind the lcd screen to sense when the screen has been swiveled away. There are two sensors which are built into the keyboard which senses the change in magnetic flux. I guess that there are two so that one can determine to which direction the screen was swiveled. So what could happen, is that the keyboard does not make proper contact with the main board within the phone and this can be the cause to the problem. It seems like when too much pressure is applied to the keyboard over time, that the contact pads on the keyboard wears out. So by replacing the keyboard pcb, the problem would likely be solved. One could of course try to fix these pads. One other possibility is that there is something wrong with the magnets behind the lcd. Either missing or misplaced or they are so old that they do not have a sufficient magnetic flux any longer, but I guess that is less likely.
