Question about Audio Players & Recorders
The power turns on to my SANSUI au-7900 AMP BUT THERE IS NO SOUND.i have it connected to a kenwood kt-593 tuner.could you help me on repairing it?
This unit is most likely in protect mode. A problem with the last output stage was detected and is preventing the unit from turning on completely. Normally this is a failure of the output transistors in one or more channels. Without testing some of the components inside the unit, I can not say for sure. I would suggest that you bring this unit to a service shop for a detailed repair estimate. Post the results here and we can help you to perform the actual repair. Expect this estimate to cost around $50.
