The store should be willing to take them back or if they dont, a lot of times you can call the company and they will be willing to either give you a refund or replace the disks.

Have you cleaned the lens of you CD-R lately. Kensington make one, looks like a cd with an set of eyelashes on it...that way you'll know it not you drive.
If so just take them back to where you purchased them, I'm sure in this business climate they will exchange them, happily.
I like that brand too, never had a problem,
good luck, please leave rating, thank you kindly

Memorex cds won't play in home player when burned, but will play in computer or car player. The file is not a mp3, it is a audio file created by windows player, or ITunes. Neither will play. Other cds I...

Not every CD or DVD player is able to correctly ready every single brand of writable media. The situation you described is quite common, and the only solution is to use another brand of media. Some people recommend burning at a slower speed, but I don't think this helps at all.
This situation might be caused by incompatibility between the laser on your player and the formulation of the writable surface. You should test other brands and find one that works with all your devices. When you find it, stick with it.

What is better for a wurlitzer1015 jukebox is it 50 cds or 100cds 200watt or 400watt what works best.

The choice between 50 and 100 CDs is just a matter of how many CDs you want to select from. As far as the amplifier, unless you have extension speakers, you don't need a 400 watt amplifier.

Just bought a 50 pk memorex CD-r. My system says the device is not ready, on both G: and H: drives. Also have gotten message "CD with unrecognizable data", and remember this is a brand new disk. Didn't...

I once bought a pack of Comp USA CDs at Goodwill for about $3.00. Package was sealed, brand new. About half of them were good and if I remember the others gave the same message that you are getting. So defective stuff does get out. I could actually see the defect in the bad discs.

I cannot find TDK XA80 CD-R Audio - Recordable Compact Discs

All you guys looking for AUDIO burner CDs' should try the MEMOREX CD-R MUSIC CDs. These are a new product, released to REPLACE the TDK XA80 AUDIO CDs.

Stocks are a bit low right now - but only because this is a new product - and people like me are buying up big.

'Tanya' at JB Hi Fi in Erina Fair on the NSW Central Coast, has promised me that she will be ordering plenty of these discs because she is aware of our dilema. Apparently Head Office of JB HiFi has also advised their numerous stores of this MEMOREX product and they should all be having them in stock shortly.

Product description:
Red cardboard box with 10 blank CDs in slim jewel cases. Marked "Memorex Music CD-R" 700MB (80min) Mine cost me $8.95c for this pack of ten.

These work fine on my stand alone, Hi-Fi LG dual tray burner and also on a mates' Pioneer CD burner. Good luck and thank God for Memorex!

Gary, Gosford NSW.

I can't seem to play memorex cd's on my computer. I've downloaded musi and one cd has family photos on it, but for some reason it wil not download on my computer.

It has nothing to do with memorex. There are few possible causes. Perhaps you're using incompatible format (CD-R, CD+R...). Also, perhaps those CDs were burned on another computer and left unclosed. Check the CD format and check if the CDs are closed or opened for additional files.
