Bizhub C250/252 ICC Color Profile

Does anyone know where I can get an ICC color profile for the C250 or C252 from? I really would like one and can't seem to find one anywhere.

Re: Bizhub C250/252 ICC Color Profile

HI i am fron DPI Grafica SH and have made test of diferents ICC profiles.
I will tell you how is my system to get to correct colors an sharp texts.

First - i print fron Adobe Ilustrator or Adobe PDF Profesional. If you have your file in Corel Draw export it to pdf or Publish a PDF File.

Second - I select s"sRGB IEC6 1966-2.1" this profile prints acurate fonts and colors that match whit de monitor. Is a little bit desaturate if you compare with " COATED Foagra". This one prints blurry fonts and blur edges.

This is the best result that i can get after print tests with all de ICC profiles.

Greetings and i hope that you can solve this problem.

Re: Bizhub C250/252 ICC Color Profile

Olle is correct at least as far as Konica Minolta is concerned. These Bizhubs utilize an Emperon print controller unless you got the fiery. I am assuming you don't have the fiery because spot matching, color matching, and Pantone calibration are just a few of the things a Fiery and Command Workstation will do.

How do I get a ICC profile for this Xerox 6360DN printer ?

I don't believe there is an ICC profile for this printer.
It is considered a "Office Color printer" for printing word documents and spreadsheets and occasionally print is not a graphics printer or something you would want to do color matching on.

I have a Samsung CLP-315 laser color printer. I'm trying to find out if there's a *.icc or *.icm color profile for it to use with Adobe Photoshop. Couldn't find anything yet via google or others. Would you...

I have just purchased a CLP 325 and have set it up to get excellent colour pictures using Adobe Photoshop and the icc profiles readily available.
Your current working icc profile could be either Adobe RGB (1998), sRGB, Profoto or another. I would suggest that for everyday work use sRGB, if you are a specialist use Adobe RGB (1998).
Firstly make these changes in Photoshop:
Edit / Assign Profile / ColourMatch RGB.
To print:
File / Print / printer profile should be Adobe RGB (1998)

I am the Graphic Artist and Printer for a public library. We have a logo that has the Pantone color PMS 375 green in it. I mix my own inks and have no problem reproducing the color properly on a printing...

Laser printers, although they have a larger color gamut than a CMYK offset press, still will not be able to reproduce a majority of Pantone special colors.
Professional inkjet printers, especially those using more than 4 inks, are far better at this - the ink pigments are more color-pure and concentrated than those in laser toners.
Remember, that Windows print drivers work in RGB, and use ICC profiles to convert color data to CMYK components for printer. If you have a CMYK file, and look at it on your monitor, it's converted (using monitor ICC profile) to monitor's RGB colorspace, and then back to CMYK with the printer ICC profile when printed. Converted twice with ICC, which always introduces distortions...
If you have a properly calibrated monitor, and a good printer profile installed, you have better chances of reproducing screen colors on the printer, especially if you work in RGB.
As a simple, but laborious solution, I would suggest preparing "swatch sheets" yourself using some graphics software. Preferrably in RGB, not CMYK. A series of gradients with the green component going from, say, half way to maximum, and other components in various combinations, like R0 B0, R10 B0, R20 B0,... then R0 B10, R10 B10, R20 B10... and so on. Print those, and try to find a spot in the gradients that is the closest to your color sample, and then make swatches with smaller increments around that color to find the best RGB combination.
Good luck :)

Colour Profiles for the Konica-Minolta BizHub C252P

For this type of colour output, such as InDesign you will really need a Fiery. This is professional colour running in Psotscript.
Without this you are going to have inconsistent results.
Depending on the Model will be how well it supports ICC profiles. the most recent "tuxedo line" comes with a profile downloader that works well with custom profiles.

Could not read the ICC profile. Saving image canceled.

ICC = International Color Consortium.

The ICC's should be installed in the default printer directory.

Also, you may want to check the printer profile. In printer properties under the "color management" tab check to see if automatic or manual is highlighted. If manual is highlighted, be sure the print profile matches that of the paper you are using. You can select any of the included profiles as the default or add your own from a third source. Such third-source profiles are most often specified by your software provider

MacBook Pro Epson Print Driver Dilemma

your problem is about profiles. The gutenprint is the only way to print from intel to r1800, but this driver don't use the same ICC profiles. You have to use one of three solutions below:
1 the best, you have a profile calibrating device, you make a profile of your couple ink-paper and you convert your document into this ICC profile.
2 you convert your picture into your software in one of the Epson generic profiles (hey probably still are on your computer) and you print whithout color managment
3 (awful) you anticipate the color distorsion and you tune your picture to be bad on the screen but pretty good on paper.

Problem Printing accurately colors from Corle Draw to Bizhub C252

The reddish greys are something a Fiery will correct, that is part of it's function. (GCR).

I would try turining colour management off, or rasterizing the file in Corel. I believe there is an option in the print window.

Have you tried making a PDF of the file and printing that?
Using the ICC profile could be a solution, but the Fiery is what is needed.

Printing accurate colors from Corel draw to the Minolta Bizhub C252

HI there i have the same printer and for accurate color i follow this steps:

1 - First publicate you work in a pdf file whit high quality

2 - Go into adobe Acrobat (profesional not reader only) and pres print

3 - Then you have to select in advanced settings and select icc profile "sRGB ..."

4 - You´ll notice that the colors are very real. No oversaturated and the real deal are the fonts that prints correctly in border even if they are very small (- 6 pt.).

5 - RECOMENDATION: For intense black use a compost one 100% in every color or select in the color palette the one at the end of the palette
