Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

SOURCE: TV fell off Dresser, now remote doesn't work. Help

You may have broken the circuit board inside your tv. You need to have it checked out at a shop. It'll probably be cheaper to replace than repair.

SOURCE: My 32 in tv fell

It is honestly much cheaper than to get a new TV, by the time you pay for the replacement screen and the labour, you will be about a grand into the TV. If it is under a year old, you can see if the place you bought it from can do anything for you, you may get an even better chance if it is under 90 days old. But other than that, look into a new TV and a wall mount, or look in the manual, there is directions with most TV's to secure them to the wall to keep them from falling.

SOURCE: A glass broke and pieces of glass fell inside of

Hello, Welcome to FixYa.

Based on your description, I think this should help and be just what you need to get to that piece of glass and remove the spray arm so you do not have to call a technician...and maybe more.

You`ll need to follow these steps to access and clean it. (The key with the spray arm nut is to hold it while you spin the spray arm, not the nut...provided it is a KUDS02 series dishwasher as stated).

1 ) Remove the turbo wash tube if applicable to your model, it pulls off, i.e.

2 ) Spray arm removal. hold the center nut and spin the arm.
3 ) Now you can remove the upper spray arm supply tub or referred to sometimes as "rear feed cap".
a ) lift to depress the rear tab, i.e.
b ) Then twist the feeder to the right ( clockwise ), i.e.
4 ) Now you can remove the center nut...

Then remove the four # 20 torx head screws holding the filter in place, and lift the filter out. This should allow you to remove the broken glass.

If my explanation is not clear enough, here`s a link which provides a pretty good video of how to do this, these guys aren`t pro`s but the "how to" video is pretty thorough nonetheless.

Let me know how you make out, please keep me informed if you need further assistance or anything is unclear.

Thank you for choosing FixYa and good luck.

SOURCE: my sansui television fell off

You need to give it a shake and see if you hear anything loose.

respond with how this turned out.

Assuming its a CRT, something heave ripped away from the board on impact.
or the nack board on the back broke the tube.

the first situation is fixable, the second is not.
If its a small TV you should forget about it, the charge to fix it won't be worth it.

If you got a techie friend, you got a good chance.

Try spraying a little water near the feet and apply heat from a blow dryer. Not too much don't want to melt anything.

Our 32 inch flat screen tv fell off the dresser and has a defect in the screen. My son says it can't be repaired. It is not quite a year onl. Can it be repaired?

Sorry to say, but your son is right. Damaged screens can only be replaced, not repaired. It's like trying to fix a cracked or shattered windshield on a car. The screen is very fragile and sensitive.
The cost of replacing the screen is almost as the price of a new TV if not more. Sorry to give you the bad news.

Is it worth taking to a repair shop?

The circuit board is probably broken. OR maybe also the picture tube. If service shops in your area give free estimates, it might be ok to have someone checkit for you. Newer tv's however can be replaced cheaper than repaired unless they cost several hundred dollars. The smaller size of the circuit boards make it very difficult to repair them. Stargazer
