the shelf in my danby d9604w refridgerator broke. where would I find another one? aproximately 20" x 10" in.

Lenabs,
I was able to find the shelf I needed by typing the brandname and the fridge model number online and I got the number of the part I needed from a diagram but the bad news is that it was aver $40 per shelf and it was just a piece of plastic. The new one would be just as weak as the old one. I finally decided to add some strength to the existing shelf with some hardware store aluminum and glued it on with some JB Weld. I suggest you take the broken plastic piece in with to an ACE hardware and you will be surprised how many pieces of precut shiny aluminum are there for the having.
You can use that JB Weld to join the parts and make them stronger than new. Let me know if you need some more help.

Make sure you use adhesive rated to adhere to the metal and plastic that you are bonding. Some epoxies are not going to work on plastic for instance.
