I have the same problem, but its about 1 week; I found that the coils freeze up. So it must be the defrost. But the timer is putting it into defrost appropriately, so it must be the defrost heater.

Will it restart again? How old is this freezer? Could be start relay loose or a burned wire connection, worn out compressor. Let us Know what you find
