Question about Dryers
Kenmore dryer, 18 years old won't turn on all knobs ok plugged in breaker on door closed what else can I do or check
Using a resistance meter, check the resistance of the motor that turns the dryer. If it short circuit (0 ohms) or open circuit (50ohms or greater) then you'll need a new motor.
There may also be a open circuit to the motor than inhibits it from functioning correctly.
An appliance serviceperson should be able to troubleshoot the motor and any other circuit faults. Perhaps a new (or slightly used) dryer is the cheapest solution.
