Question about Daewoo DVG-9200N DVD Player

1 Answer

Audio from DVD, but no video

I have a Daewoo DVG 9200N and have a unique problem that I haven't seen elsewhere in these pages.  The DVD will playthe audio portion of the DVD, but I cannot get the video portion.  I've tried looking at all the connections, the input source, and the televison, but I continue to get only the audio portion of the DVD.  Any suggestions?

Re: Audio from DVD, but no video

Did you try replacing the cord(s) that connect the DVD player to the TV?

Hello to all at fixya & Tech Guy ! I have a Daewoo DVG9200N, and a Philips...

One fix to return DVD player to origional setings, is to go in to the menu and find the factory reset option the will return the setings back to fresh from the factory.

Audio is on but no picture

The problem is in the laser pickup, or the video processing circuits. I would change the audio/video cable to cover all possibilities.

I have a Daewood DVG-9100N/DVG-9200N DVD player. I need a replacement remote. Where can I get one and how do I go about it? Please let me know. Thanks. Patricia DeMarco

It depends a little on where you are in the world. I have found a contact form for the UK (their remote control model list does not feature the DVG-9100N / DVG-9200N, so you would need to enquire with them). The contact URL is as follows:

This will be no good to you if you are outside the UK though, sorry.

You would be better off to purchase a unversal remote,it will be less expensive than trying to get the original Daewoo remote, just make sure the remote you select lists Daewoo as one of the manufacturers that it can be coded to operate. This will be a simple process. Good luck!

DVD will not load

Firs try to clean the lens with CD/DVD cleaning disk (it might be $1-5 depending on store)
Also check if DVD disk not upside down.
Also chek the DVD disk for scratches
Good Luck

I pressed the "System" button on the remote control and now the DVD player is not playing my DVDs? What is going on now and how do I correct it?

unplug the system and wait a few seconds, Replug back up hit the remove button on the system see if the dvd will come back out, and than re-start over if ya want to watch the movie.
