Re: how do I program the radion station?

The device you listed is a 6 cd changer, it does not hold radio stations.

As for the head unit in your car, you can try tuning in the station and then pressing and holding the location number you want to save it to (1-6).

That works for most of them.

You can add the model name and number to this question if that doesnt work.

Best of Luck.

Unit will not stay on programed stations every time turn on have to set a station to listen to

Hi Jackie,

This is usually the result of connecting both ORANGE and RED 12VDC (+) wires to a "switched" source (meaning it is powered only when the ignition is in the on / run / accessory position).

The radio instructions specify the following connections:

Orange = +12V constant
Red = +12V switched
Black = ground
Blue/white = remote on
Green/Black = Left Front -
Green = Left Front +
Grey/Black = Right Front -
Grey = Right Front +
Black/White = Right Rear -
Grey/Red = Right Rear +
Black/Green = Left Rear -
Green/Red = Left Rear +

If you disconnect the ORANGE wire from whatever you have it currently connected to - and connect it directly to the battery's 12V (+) terminal (or other source that has 12V (+) with the key removed), your station memories will be retained.

Leave the RED wire where it is, so that the radio will shut off whenever the key is taken from the ignition - and you won't be stuck with a dead battery in the morning.

Good luck!

What channel do you set the radio to inorder to get audio from cd

88.7 , 89.1 I think. Give it a try if not then turn on the disc changer load the cd and once the cd begins to play hit scan on the radio and let the scan feature find the station for you, were ever it stops and u hear clear music then thats the station and just preset it on your preset keys.

Good luck and please rate and vote for me if I helped you. Thanks....

6 disc changer is jammed after my wife slid the car in the ditch... how do I get the cds out?

if there is no structural damage to the player. try unhooking the power to the unit for about 15 minutes then attempting it. if you can not locate the fuse for it you will have to unhook the battery. if the stereo is of the anti-theft variety make sure you know the code for it and how to enter it.

p.s. hope your wife is ok
