Question about Boating
Sounds like its a drivetrain problem. Just for fun check your prop hub, it could be slipping under heavy load. If you have u-joints they could be going bad. Sometimes if the outdrive is pitched up too far on I/O units it is an uncomfortable bend for the U-Joints. There are limit adjustments for the I/O to prevent that from happening in gear.
