Question about Pioneer EQ-6500 9-Band Car Equalizer
On the pioneer equlizer eq6500 what do the 2 blue wires hook up to? also on the back there is a switch,nor-rev, what is it and what does it do?
Blue goes to your head unit's blue wire. It switches the eq on when the head unit is switched on. It also gets tied into the amp's blue wire (if you are using an amp, and I guess you are since you have a passive eq...). The fact that there are 2 is just for conveinience I think (99% sure) If I recall one may have a white stripe, and the other none. If you want to be sure, with all power DISCONNECTED to everything, and the harness plugged into the EQ, use a multimeter to see if there is continuity (connection) between the 2 blue wires. Then you can rest assured they gave you a secind one just for a "pass thru" to your amps, but inside they are electrically connected, and are essentially the same piece of wire.
