Kyrocera kx5 slider remix

I can't hear when I open my phone. It used to work sometimes and now wont work at all.  I tried to clean it with air but didn't help.  The only way I can hear is to put it on the speaker phone.  The volume is up all the way so that is not the problem.

my phone was working fine then open it to a call and hear nothing. never dropped it, never got any liquids on it....its a POS. I am angry. 2nd phone to do this, not paying $45.00 more to get another from Cricket.

can not hear when receiving a call. the only way to hear an incoming call, i have to use my speakerphone. this is very annoying and i have no privacy. this is the second slider phone i have invested money into and i do not want to pay again for another slider phone and in a few months the phone does the same thing. someone/anyone find a solution to this problem. i enjoy my slider phone but can kyocera repair the problem and replace the damaged phone. my phone has not been dropped, no water damage. its not in the volume, or the earpiece volume.....what's really going on.

I also can't near out of the earpiece, only through speakerphone or headset. When I tried the solution I got a message "no file present in card and phone" I've never used my music player so I have no memory card.

On ebay you can purchase the flex cable for this phone for less than $20US. This fixes the problem for about 6 months.

I had the same problem with my kyocera slider, and I didn't have music put on my phone at the time. I took it to my wireless provider and they had to send the phone in to get fixed. They had it for 2 months, so I highly doubt that this music thing works...

I guess this is a common problem huh. No worries!

First: Click on your music button and play a song as you would normally do on your phone (make sure your speaker is on during this point).

Second: Click on the speaker button so you can listen to your music through your ear piece (as your music is still playing). If you don't hear your music through your ear piece wait until you hear it. It shouldn't take more than a minute. (Your music should be playing throughout this whole process)

Follow these steps every time you come across this problem.

If this solution resolved your problem, please leave a comment and a good rate. Thank you!
