Start with the easy stuff to miss...wired correctly, power on (green light on the right speaker) Do you have it plugged into the GREEN socket on the rear of you computer, Is there an X in the mute box, double click on the speaker and check, do you have a splat in sound codec or any other sound component Now are you running XP speaker in a Vista world. If you are cool up to this point, Update the drivers from logitech or Acer. Logitech says they are not compatible with Vista...that could be it...
hope something here helped and got you up and listening. please leave rating.

My logitech x240 when i play a video or sound it sounds really slow would it be sound system or sound card

Open up your computer the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer
to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
or you might have to clean the dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the CPU central processing unit and your sound card dust causes static to build up in a computer causing it to overheat any many other problems
be sure to wear an anti static earth strap before touching anything inside your computer
or you might have to uninstall your soundcard restart your computer then reintall it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sounds video and game controllers ther might be a yellow ? question mark right click to update driver or uninstall hope this helps

With power but no audio

Check the audio source - if it's from a computer, check the sound card.

My x240 logitech speakers arent working ever since i got windows 7

It might be because your sound card does not have the driver installed. See if there is any driver update in Windows Update section, and right click to Computer->Properties->Device Manager and see if there is any unidentified device there.

Hello: I have a logitech X240 speaker and all of a sudden there is no longer any sounds coming from the computer

Another sound device (usb mic/speaker - skype phone) may have changed your default playback device, have a look ( right click on your speaker icon in system tray, or sounds in control panel.)
If this is not your problem, get back and we can take it from there
