Question about Sony Audio Players & Recorders
I have a Sony Bravia HDX-576WF home theater system, with the S-Air wireless speakers and receiver. The wireless speakers keep cutting in and out. This happens regardless of what mode the system is in (Pro Logic, Multi). When the speakers cut out, the green LED on the front of the wireless receiver flashes on and off (which I believe means it is looking for a signal; it glows steadily green when the speakers are working). The switch on the back of the S-Air receiver is switched to "A", the only switch position in which the speakers will work.
Is there anything I can do to fix this problem? The S-Air receiver is only about 10 feet away from the system, and is in clear view (not buried by magazines, fast food bags, cats, etc.). I have placed it low, on an end table, and high, on a bookshelf, and the problem still persists.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! I've got a similar problem. My S-Air surround speakers work in sat/cable mode only when I'm NOT on an HD channel (I believe is said 480i or something). When the cable box hits an hd channel it changes to 720 and the s-air stops working and green light blinks. The FM and AM tuner mode has the same issue UNLESS I turn the tv off then the s-air picks it back up and the surround speakers work again. DVD mode cuts out the s-air speakers too.
Sony support wants me to ship the thing back to TX to get it fixed. I would love to avoid this if all possible.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: infinity tss-1100 sub problem
hey buddy, I have the same system, and although I haven't experienced it on this one, I had the Harman Kardon equivalent to the TSS-750, and the sub did this same thing. It was a loose RCA connection, and, as I was well outside of warranty, I took the amp out of the back and just re-soldered the connection myself. It now functions flawlessly for my bedroom setup. I hope you get it all worked out on your system! I can't imagine using this awesome system without its deep notes!

I read on another review that the HDMI cable is causing this problem because it is beside the S-Air transmitter on the main unit. I could not get my rear speakers to pair or work, and sure enough, when I removed the HDMI cable and hooked up the unit via Component Video to my Sony 52" XBR TV, the speakers paired and worked. When I plugged the HDMI cable in they did not work. I am going to try to purchase a higher-end, more expensive HDMI cable and see if that helps. The whole point of HDMI is for true blue ray 1080p pictures. Hope this helps.

You may have to go into the bose setup and select optical in for that particular input. Check your user manuel it should say in it.

You will need a Component Video Cable
Connect the Red Green and Blue Connections from the TV to the Bose.
if your audio is coming from the TV, also connect stereo audio from the TV's audio out to the "TV" input on the bose.
if you want to hook up other devices (VCR, BluRay, etc) the video will go directly to the TV and audio will go directly to the Bose
