I don't know what type of controller you have, but all the wireless PS2 controllers I've used come with a receiver that you put into the controller port, and then you should be able to use it. The wired controllers, of course, you just have to plug in.

How I fix the xbox 360 controller blinking and sync light problem, when the sync button doesnt work?

Yes, this can be tricky sometimes.

Be close to your console when synching your controllers. As always make sure the controller is on.
You will need to press both the synch button on the console and on the controller approximately the same time. If you have done this correctly. The controllers should have synched to the console in a few seconds.

Here is a link to show you how to do it for the Xbox 360.

Connect controller to your Xbox 360

To synch a Xbox One Controller go to link below here.

Connect wireless Xbox One controller to your console

Also just in case the light is flashing the and the controller is already synched, that means the battery is low and you need to change it out for new batteries.

Hope this has helped and good luck.

The lights keep blinking but nothing is happening. It wont connect to the console. What should I do?

It's possible the xbox 360 controller isn't connected to the xbox 360. Turn the xbox 360 on by pressing the power button, and wait until it reaches the dash board. Then press the controller syncing button on the xbox 360 itself and wait until the xbox 360's ring lights start to spin around. Then press and hold the synch button on the controller (located near the charge port) and the controller should synch up with the xbox 360.

How do I connect my wii controller to my wi

Hello there, what you want to do is open the back of the wii controller where you put the battery. Then you want to go to your wii and open a little slot drawer type thing next to the DVD slot. There will be a synch button on both the controllers and the wii, push the button. Note that you will have to synch each and every controller to each and every wii. Meaning if you go to your friends house and they have a wii you will need to repeat the process at their house and also again when you return to your house, but it only takes a few seconds for them to recognize eachother. Once you are synched to your machine if you dont take it to a different Wii you wont have to synch every time you want to play just the initial time. Happy Gaming

You might want to re-synch the remote to the console.

On the remote, the red synch button is where the batteries are installed.

The red synch button for the console is located behind the lip door where the SD card is inserted.

Press the synch buttons and you should be be ready to ROCK!

Neither of my controllers will connect to the Wii. I have two controllers that turn on but don't actually hook up with the wii to use for playing games. I'm assuming it has to do with the sensor bar.

Have you synched the controllers to the system? There is a button underneath the battery cover and one next to the memory car slot that need to be pressed to synch the controllers. Both of the buttons are red.

My xbox 360 will not allow the controllers to stay connected, it keeps making me reconnect the controllers about every 30 seconds, Got any suggestions?

what i would say is that you should your batteries are bad, either that or you need to make sure that you have the same controllers that came with the system or if not to make sure you synch them with the console

Wireless controls wont synch to sytem i changed batteriespressed both little buttons but controller just keeps on blinking

First I'd test the batteries in another device to make sure they actually are full. Rechargeable batteries are great in the long run and also generate less waste.

I had the same problem with a Microsoft wireless controller. It just showed it synced fine (the four leds blinked in order 1234 and then all flashed like it's connected) and the controller dropper off the rig immediately after that, keeping blinking idly as always when unconnected.

Solution: When you power the console on with the X button on the controller, try pressing the connect button on the controller then, apparently the console looks for controllers when it's just opening the user interface and it somehow synch better at that moment. Had to try it twice but it synced fine just as I was giving up hope, and has been working ever since!

Hope I could help!

Cannot connect the controller to the console

There are two synch buttons. The one on the console and there's also one beside the batteries that you replaced.
Try both and you should be back online.

If all the lights are coming on then going off again the controller needs to be synched with the wii. Once it is synchronized after all the indicator lights flash one should stay on indicating which player you are (1 -4)
To synch a controller to the wii:
Make sure the wii is in
Open the battery cover on the wiimote
Open the front panel of the wii
Press the synch button on the console
Press the red synch button on the wii mote
Should work for you.
