I was working on a table when suddenly my mouse stopped scrolling and would only zoom. Neither could I enter any more information in the table! Then I found it also zoomed on word docs. I follwed the steps...

take out the battery in it. then resynchronize it . also take a small screw driver and press on the side of the scroll wheel and press up to jar it from being locked in (sounds like it got one of the inside buttons underneath the wheel locked)

I can't page up or down

buttons are enabled

What Toshiba do you have? Without knowing that it is would be hard to help you.

Is this a new laptop?

One suggestion I can say is: Check on near at the mouse pad area to see if there is any button that enables or disables features of the mouse pad.

or esle uninstall and reinstall the touchpad driver and restart the computer hope it will help...good luck

My finger mouse works just not the scroll feature

Check the scroll settings in Control Panel. Maybe it is disabled, or maybe something else.

Click the Start Orb (or Button in XP) and click Control Panel. There, search for Mouse Settings (or similar). In Vista, you can type what you want in the Search Box.

Unplug the USB (or PS/2) plug for a couple of seconds and reconnect them. That worked for me when this happened on my older Logitech keyboard.

I dont deem to have a middle mouse button

Hi Thanks for the advice on fixing my problem. I solved it by googling the problem. The solution was to go to the 'set point' feature in Logitech and change the 'zoom' setting to 'other', then select 'middle mouse'. THAT WORKED. I like the laser mouse it has a real nice feel to it., and am super happy now i have a middle mouse button to perform commands in my modelling program......................regards julie

Logitech Marble Mouse 904360-0403

love this trackball mouse, yet they are very sensitive to wear and trash that causes them to fail. Wal-Mart sells great ones like the Logitech LX3 optical mouse that are not as sensitive and have more features
