Question about Disney High School Musical Mix Stick 2.0 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Disney Mix Max was playing fine...then it just stopped playing. My daughter was listening to it and she went to turn up the volume and change the song and it stopped working. We can't get it to play. it has a blank screen...won't turn off but power light is on. It is a brand new mix max just taken out of the package yesterday. My husband bought it in store in Calfornia and we live in Canada. Kinda hard to return it!!! HELP!!!!

My mix max volume is all the way to its max but it still sounds very low

I had the same problem with standard over the head earphones, however, when I used it with earbuds, the volume increased tremendously and we now have no problems with the volume sounding too low. My daughter has a hard time with regular earbuds, so I purchased some "clip" style earbuds.

Can only hear first song played/selected

Try removing all the songs from it and then copy just two songs together and see if it plays both. If it doesn't, it is faulty.
If it does play both songs, is it possible that you copied the songs in a folder, and it cannot open the folder? Or maybe there is a problem with the second song (corrupt?) so it is reverting to the first one?
Or maybe the MP3 conversion of the other songs were done at too high a quality for this player to recognize.
Make sure the songs you are trying to play, actually play from the computer.
Hope that helps.

I lost my disney mix max charger

There are several types of chargers you can use with the mix max....car charger, wall charger, USB to computer (FYI turn your computer off while charging and it stops), and my favorite - the speaker station. Just do a search for disney mix max charger on the internet, amazon, or ebay and several options will come up. I like the speaker station because it is easy to charge with it and lets my daughter use it as a stereo and dance unit if she wants.

Disney Mix Max

Oops, correction ... I reset it again and tried it and it came right on. It looks great, it sounds great. If you look on the bottom of the player you'll see a tiny pin-hole. Just stick a needle or pin in it, reset it and try again. Good luck.

Mix Max Will not turn on

It's possible that the battery has failed. Before you contact the manufacturer for warranty replacement I'd suggest you try the Mix Max Recovery Tool first to see if that will make a difference. You can find that at the following address.

http://digiblue.com/customer-service/faqs/disney/mixmax/14.html

Just click on the link that says Download the instructions for your latest firmware update here and follow the instructions. Keep in mind that when you get to the point where the Recovery tool tells you to press the + while connecting you need to make sure that the player is turned off and press and hold the volume up button on the player when connecting it to the computer. If this doesn't work then contact them.

You may need to update the firmware on the player in order to be able to play the Max Clips.

As far as putting songs on the player goes check out the FAQ's page on the manufacturers website. The specific FAQ for adding songs is here...
