Images has a lot of haze

Haze can be from the lens or the camera sensor in some extreme conditions.

You didn't say the camera model - but I'll assume a modern, DSLR type with removable lenses. First, try a different lens. If the resulting picture is clear, the problem is with the lens. If the problem still exists, then the problem is with the camera. You may have some luck cleaning the sensor of the camera. This is a *very* delicate procedure and is done with some very specific tools and supplies for the job. The wrong procedure or use of improper cleaning supplies can render your camera useless.

The same holds true for the lens. These are delicate, precision optics and should not be serviced by end users. You should inspect the lens by holding the aperture fully open and look through it front to back and back to front. Gently clean the front and rear glass with lens cleaner and leans cleaning tissues. Do not rub hard. The coating on "Single Coated" and "Multi-Coated" optics can be damaged if rubbing too hard.

If the source of the haze is still present (either in pictures or with the ***** eye looking through the lens, it should be returned to the factory or authorized repairer for a repair estimate.

i hope this helps & good luck!

My Sony DSC-F717 has mold inside of the lens. How may I disassemble the lens to clean the optics inside?

This is a relatively common job for cameras with removable lenses, but even then, best left to those with expert experience because of the precision required for reassembly. It is considerably more complicated for cameras that do not have removable lenses.
You might try camera stores in your area, but you best bet would be Sony service:

My lens will not zoom when the zoom ring is turned. What can I do?

I'd contact Tamron Tech Support. These are not cheap optics and they are assembled with precision. Opening the lens could cause contamination or further damage resulting in an even costlier repair, if out of warranty. Most Tamron lenses are covered by up to 5 years of warranty - provided you haven't opened it up - or abused it.

I hope this helped - good luck!

My ps3 will not read disc,s so i cant play any games when u put them in ,is this basic manufacterur default so can get it fixed for free or if not wat is cheapest way to fix it

looks like your lens has taken a beating.
call up sony center and explain them the problem. You would have to ship the ps3 to them.
Remember to make a back up of all your game saves and downloaded content if possible.

If you are still under warranty, Sony should replace the lens for you for free.
I would suggest replacing it with Sony, even if you have to pay for it, rather than doing it yourself or by an unauthorized person.
Ask for a warranty on the lens if you get it fixed via Sony.

Changing Lens needs a lot of precision work.

Lg dr275 does not recagnize any disk

This can be as simple as a dirty lens or more drastic like defecitve optics. If you can access the lens, try cleaning it using a cotton swab and alcohol. Next try playing a music CD. If the CD willplay OK, but hte DVD will not, then the optics are failing and will need to be replaced.

Keep us posted.

DVD will not play, message reads incorrect disc format we were watching DVD when it froze and will not permit any DVD to play now

Try cleaning the optics lens using a cotton swab and alcohol. If that does not resolve the problem, than one of the following has occurred:

1) The optics assembly is not able to read the disc anymore (replace the optics).

2) The logic board has failed in some way and the information obtained from the disc is being marked as invalid. This option will take more diagnosis to completely resolve.

If option 1 appears to be the case, the unit should stillbe able to read a music CD. CDs require a lower level of laser than DVD.

Keep us posted.

I have a old 61 inch tv the lens are out. Are these lens still available numbers on them are 646376-1 delta 24 passed 08121490 by U S Precision Lens inc Cinn. Oh.

The lens isnt the problem the tubes(CRTs) are what go bad. Whats your model number I may be able to help you out. The other site I work at has a huge inventory of used picture tubes that are all in good working order. Finding new tubes for anything older than 97 models is almost impossible. But post your model number and I should be able to help you out.
