Question about Canon Pixma iP4500 InkJet Printer
I have a canon 9500 printer ,when i click on print it says the following ink taks cannot be regognised or it says ink tank errors have occured?any ideas, the ink tanks are new!
I have encountered the same problem, and after doing some research I found it to be a faulty chip in the ink cartridge (tank) itself. The problem disappeared when I bought a new one. The cartridge in Canon printers are equipped with a chip to ensure that you don't use counterfeit or unbranded ones. I might also be responsible for reporting levels to the driver, but I suspect that it first & foremost is a tool for them to make you stick to their brand. One can figure why...
