On my jvc 517v when you turn the volume up the speakers are crackeling and scratchie and speakers sound terrible.

Is this a NEW problem or has it always been like this? What modes or sources are affected? Generally, crackling, scratchty sound is either overdrive distortion, speakers being pushed too hard, or blown speakers.

What is the exact model. Can't find the manual for "517v".

Channel 2 crackles

Make sure your speaker wiring does not come close to the 12v power cable running for your amplifier. If your amplifier's 12v power cable runs on the drivers side of the vehicle, run your speaker cables on the passengers side and make sure your tweeters have a high pass filter to stop any pickup of engine sound (When you are driving you *WILL* notice it at high RPM. a HPF (High Pass Filter) will also stop those nasty hissing sounds on S's.

Crackling Speakers

Hello,

That because maybe due to your itunes player which the installation got error..please try another player other than Itune or play it in windows media player or some other player which you think good player.

Or try reinstall your player or update it.

if this not resolve the issue, then verify the connection of your sound card maybe got grounded to other components making the sound crackle..Or you may try attached a grounding wire from your stuff directed to the ground or attached in any metal that is connected to the ground to eliminate noise.

please tell me what ever result for further analysis

My ford ka cd player only plays out of one speaker

When I first got my Ka, the wiring between the car and the door was snapped. If you open the door there is a rubber tubing, if u assume 2 wires are snapped and try 2 pull them together through the rubber tubing you should hear a crackle if thats the fault. Even if you do not, it will almost certainly be this. To fix it, you need 2 use a stanley knife 2 cut open the rubber tubing then connect the to snapped wires together. I did this by getting a small amount of speaker cable and adding it 2 both ends, using plenty of insulation tape. This is the most common fault for speaker problems in the Ka.

Hope this Helps

Display ok, no audio

poor connection somewhere or heat problem causing cold solder joint as such to lose conductivity. Time to look for it using cold spray. Good luck
