Question about Boating
If the engine was not winterized by adding a fuel stabilizer like Stab-All than it's possible that you have a varnish build up in the carburetor. I've had luck by adding carb and injuctor cleaner, run until you know it has reached the entire system and let set overnight. Its a long shot short of taking the carb apart.
