Ok I have this problem, rite now and i just cme off of the phone with an apple support technician. Ok when ur logo is up...hold down the home and sleep buttton until the apple logo dissapears...now ur phone should be off. Make sure ur iphone is not connected to usb so far...wait 2 minutes and open itunes on ur comp, and plug one end of the usb cable into your computer...now, hold down the home button DO NOT LET GO, and while holding it down, plug in the usb cable into your iphone and wait for itunes to say that it has discovered an iphone in recovery mode, after u see it in itunes, let go of home button and click ok. Now, click restore and you are on your way to a working iphone again :D if any more problems email me at sargentscar@hotmail.com, so i can give you further information.

You have erased the contants of your phone and it needs to be restored to factory settings.

Plug the iPhone onto the cable and the don't put the usb into the computer.
Hold the Home button Down for 5 seconds and without letting it go, Press the power button and hold for approx 10 seconds till the phone boots. Don't let the home button go yet.
let go of the power button and hold the home button for 27 sec
The screen may and probably will go blank.
plug the USB end into the computer and have your iTunes on.
your iPhone will mount in DFU mode, Restore your iPhone and you should be back in action.

How to master reset my Apple Iphone A1221?

Ok, I'm using my iphone 4 running 7.1.0 as my guide on this one, so I must not be using all the correct headings, but this should be close. Go to "settings->general->reset->Erase all content and settings". That should erase all personal data, contacts, songs, photos, etc... And reset all of the settings to factory default. If you think you may want to reverse this, or if you're planning on upgrading to a newer generation of iPhone and want to transfer your data then be sure you sync your phone with iTunes before doing this. Let me know if that does not work, there is another way to do it but it will require you to update to the latests version of iOS that your device can run, which will erase your jailbreak if you've installed one (not to be confused with re-lock your phone, if you paid to get your phone factory unlocked, and that does not mean a sim interposer, your phone should remain unlocked, no matter if you update iOS).

Can't remember google email and password , I want to clear search history from iPhone b4 selling it

If you are selling it, I would recommend performing a Factory Data Reset (FDR). This will wipe all of your data and settings from the device. The process is similar, regardless of which iPhone you have. Here is a link and the steps you should follow:

Reset iPhone settings. Go to Settings > General > Reset, then choose an option:
  • Reset All Settings: All your preferences and settings are reset.

  • Erase All Content and Settings: Your information, and settings are removed. iPhone cannot be used until it's set up again.

You can remove all settings and information from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch tapping "Erase All Content and Settings" in Settings > General > Reset.
To remove all content and settings from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
If you wish to recover the data again, ensure that you have an iCloud or iTunes backup and that it is up to date.
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Erase all Content and Settings.
When you select to "Erase All Content and Settings," the process can take from a few minutes to several hours. The time this process takes will vary by iOS device:
Devices that support hardware encryption: Erases user settings and information by removing the encryption key that protects the data. This process takes just a few minutes.
Devices that overwrite memory: Overwrites user settings and information, writing a series of ones to the data partition. This process can take several hours, depending on the storage capacity of your iPhone or iPod touch. During this time, the device displays the Apple logo and a progress bar.
Note: If possible, connect your device to a charger and leave it connected until the process is complete.

My brother gifted me an iPhone 4. I want to erase all the data contained. How I can do this?

You need to factory reset the iPhone. it is a simple process

Begin the process, if possible, by backing up the data on your iPhone 4. Do this by syncing the phone (each time you sync, it creates a backup). This lets you save all your data and settings to restore to the phone after the reset.
When that's done, locate the Settings app on your iPhone homescreen. If you've rearranged your apps, locate it wherever you put it. Tap the icon.
Scroll down to the General menu. Tap it.
Scroll all the way to the bottom to the Reset menu. Tap it.
On this screen, you'll be presented with a number of reset options, ranging from just resetting all the iPhone 4's settings to resetting its dictionary or homescreen layout. The factory reset option is Erase All Content and Settings. If you're sure you want to factory reset your iPhone 4, tap it.
You'll see a warning reminding you that you'll be erasing all music, other media, data, and settings if you do this. If that's not what you want to do, tap Cancel. Otherwise, tap Erase iPhone.
It will generally take a minute or two to factory reset the iPhone, but when the process is done, you'll have a brand-new, pristine iPhone ready for whatever your next step is.
